Meet Candice Burroughs –

 

 

20 years of marketing expertise sets Candice Burroughs apart from other real estate agents.  Candice began her career in marketing in the incentive travel industry and learned early on how to make people comfortable regardless of the location.  “I consider my incentive travel roots as “short-term real estate” because my job was to settle people into their home away from home,” explains Candice.

 

Candice founded Kustom Incentive Concepts, a full service incentive travel and meeting planning company following the 1984 Olympics.  “Kustom Incentive Concepts provided the opportunity to work with Fortune 500 companies in the hospitality field and strengthen my ability to listen to a clients’ needs and connect them with a destination or hotel that could deliver exactly what they were looking for in rewarding their employees or communicating a message at their annual meeting.  I bring these listening skills to my real estate clients and handle their real estate transactions according to their exact expectations,” said Candice.

 

Real estate is a natural transition for Candice, a South Orange County resident for the past 29 years.  Managing the details for events for thousands gave her the contract negotiation skills necessary to be an effective real estate agent.  Whether working with a buyer or seller, she can execute a contract in their best interests ensuring the smallest detail is addressed properly.  “I enjoy working in real estate because I have the opportunity to help sellers meet their financial goals when selling their home and assist buyers in finding their dream home.  I enjoy long-term versus the short-term satisfaction of the travel industry,” says Candice.  Her real estate clients have a competitive edge with her ability to lend a creative eye to any property and pinpoint the selling areas to improve curb appeal and understated areas of improvement.
